Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One (1) year of accounting or finance experience.
- Actively involved in the WVU Medicine budget process, including data entry and analysis.
- Assist in the completing and compiling financial support documentation for budget
- Integral part of evaluating financial processes and reports to maximize efficiency as well as the implementing the results of those evaluations.
- Develop and submit analytical financial data and information as needed to support the department leaders.
- Responsible for department reconciliations and analysis.
- Perform accounting related functions and submit accurate financial data during month-end process.
- Performs billing for various departments and responsible for accounts receivable reconciliations and analysis.
- Performs various productivity analysis and reporting.
- Support performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with computer databases and spreadsheet software, with strong understanding of Excel.
