We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and scheduling. Your focus will be on ensuring a smooth patient experience by coordinating treatment procedures, explaining financial options, and supporting our office operations with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Duties
- Guide patients through their treatment plans, explaining procedures and answering questions clearly and confidently
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow and office efficiency
- Assist patients with understanding their financial responsibilities, including insurance benefits and payment options
- Check patients in and out and receive patients co-pays
- Respond promptly to insurance EOB (Explanation of Benefits) requests and fight for patient benefits when needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and insurance communications
- Support the dental team by managing administrative tasks related to patient care and insurance processing
Skills
- Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and insurance documentation
- Proficiency in dental administrative support tasks such as verifying insurance benefits and posting insurance payments
- Dental office experience that demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and teamwork
- One year of dental office experience is required
- Spanish speaker a plus
