Key Responsibilities
- Assist our oral surgeons during surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, and more
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and surgical areas
- Ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and cared for before, during, and after procedures
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Monitor patients’ vital signs as needed during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
- Support team members and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow
- Assist with IV placements and drawing blood
- 2 years of experience as a dental assistant in oral surgery, prosthodontics, or general dentistry required
- Active BLS Certification or willing to obtain required
- X-Ray Certification required
- Prior IV or Phlebotomy experience or willing to be trained
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
