Journeyman Carpenter/Framers, ACT and Drywall

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter/Framer with expertise in drywall, ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tiles), and general construction to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality framing, metal building erection, concrete forming, and finishing tasks across diverse construction projects. Your hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings will ensure precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Erect metal buildings, including framing and structural supports, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety protocols
• Install concrete forms for foundations, slabs, and other structural elements with accuracy using proper measuring techniques
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to guide framing, drywall installation, and finishing tasks
• Perform rebar installation for reinforced concrete structures, ensuring correct placement and secure fastening
• Execute drywall hanging, finishing, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry to achieve smooth surfaces and polished aesthetics
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, lift, and position materials efficiently on-site
• Manage construction site activities including material handling, heavy lifting, site cleanup, and coordination with team members for seamless project flow

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or Framer with a strong background in metal building erection and concrete forming
• Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements required for precise carpentry work
• Knowledge of rebar installation, masonry techniques including siding and restoration work
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment as needed on construction sites
• Familiarity with roofing systems, siding installation, remodeling projects, drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, and woodworking skills
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols in diverse environments
• Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and calculations during project execution
• Valid experience in interpreting technical drawings related to metal stud framing and other specialized systems
