Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, and schedule meetings or presentations for senior sales leaders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outreach via phone, email, and online channels, following up on inbound leads, and researching target markets and organizations in the insurance and claims space. The role involves clearly communicating Peak Claims Group’s services, understanding client needs, and aligning solutions with those needs. The Business Development Representative will also track activities in a CRM system, support proposal development, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, with experience managing and nurturing a pipeline of prospects.
- Strong Sales and Business Development abilities, including opportunity qualification, relationship building, and closing or supporting closing activities.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present services clearly and professionally to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong time management, organization, and self-motivation.
- Experience using CRM or sales enablement tools to document activities and track progress toward goals.
- Background in insurance, claims management, or related professional services is preferred but not required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
