Medical Front Office Assistant - OKC

Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Medical Front Office Assistant to join our team at our Oklahoma City location! We are looking for someone that is positive, personable, and detail oriented.

Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that includes Psychology, Speech, Occupational Therapy and ABA. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities.

The Position:

Provide the initial warm welcome to all patients and guests

Receive incoming phone calls and referrals

Provide excellent customer service

Respond to scheduling requests
Collect payments
Announce incoming client to providers at check-in

Receive deliveries and distribute mail
Stocking office supplies
Scan and upload clinical documents

Light cleaning of shared areas in the office

Assist colleagues with administrative tasks (e.g., copying, mailing, etc.)

Qualifications:

Experience as a receptionist (medical receptionist experience preferred)
Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
Must have great problem-solving skills
Must be highly organized and have a great eye for details
Available part-time – 20 hours/week
Proficient in using technology:

• Google Drive
• Gmail
• Electronic Medical Records (preferred)

While performing the duties of this job, the Office Assistant is regularly required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. The Office Assistant’s vision must be adequate to read correspondence, computer screens, forms, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity. The Office Assistant is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms; regularly required to stand, walk, kneel and bend; and occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The position requires the ability to operate a computer.
