This position is responsible for the overall performance of the HVAC service and installation departments through leadership, coaching, sales development, operational excellence, and KPI management.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential HVAC, understands duct systems, has experience leading high-performing teams, and has worked within the Nexstar Network or similar performance-driven environment.

What You'll Lead
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop service, installation & sales teams
- Hold technicians and frontline leaders accountable to company expectations
- Conduct ride-alongs, one-on-one coaching, and performance reviews
- Build future leaders through ongoing development
- Coach technicians on presenting solutions and building customer trust
- Improve average ticket, close rate, maintenance conversions, and replacement opportunities
- Reinforce ethical, customer-focused sales processes
- Develop a high-performing sales culture without sacrificing customer experience
- Partner with dispatch to maximize technician efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor scheduling, productivity, callbacks, warranty work, and profitability
- Ensure operational consistency across all field activities
- Drive continuous process improvement
- Develop technical training plans
- Improve HVAC diagnostics, ductwork knowledge, installation quality, and customer communication
- Support onboarding and development of new technicians
- Promote continuous learning and professional growth

What We're Looking For
- 5 years of residential HVAC leadership experience
- Previous Operations Manager, Service Manager, or General Manager experience
- Strong residential HVAC diagnostic experience
- Thorough understanding of residential duct systems and airflow
- Proven ability to lead sales-focused service teams
- Experience managing KPIs and departmental financial performance
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- ServiceTitan experience
- Multi-department home service leadership experience
- Experience leading both service and installation departments
