The Public Area Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the hotel's public spaces and assisting with guest room needs when necessary. This position is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring all areas of the hotel remain clean, safe, and inviting.

The Public Area Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the hotel's public spaces and assisting with guest room needs when necessary. This position is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring all areas of the hotel remain clean, safe, and inviting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other guest-facing areas.
- Clean and restock lobby restrooms, including mopping floors, dusting surfaces, replenishing paper products, and refilling soap dispensers.
- Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting with guest requests.
- Deliver towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities as needed.
- Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout the property.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain public spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Support housekeeping operations with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
