Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and guest requests
- Complete prep work, including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients for service
- Set up, stock, and maintain food preparation areas, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures are followed
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet Hilton brand standards
- Assist with banquet and catering food preparation when scheduled
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen during service
- Perform end-of-shift clean-up, including breakdown, dishwashing support, and sanitizing workstations
- Work closely with servers and supervisors to ensure smooth meal service
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of kitchen equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines consistently
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday evening, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts
