What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Teacher position at Peachtree Early Learning Academy?
Peachtree Early Learning Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Teacher to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with young children and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed.
- Comfort children, meet their daily needs, and build positive relationships.
- Follow all Alabama DHR licensing regulations and center policies.
- Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers.
- Ensure children leave each day clean, dry, and well cared for.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- Must pass required background checks.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
- Must be dependable, patient, and able to work as part of a team.
