Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills by integrating provided curriculum
- Support children's emotional needs through active listening and encouragement
- Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, milestones, and significant concerns
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, naps, hygiene, and outdoor play
- Lead or participate in events or activities aimed at supporting the children
- Model positive behavior and guiding children through peer interactions
Skills
- Experience working with preschool children in church or childcare settings
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents
- Knowledge of Bible stories and Biblical principles
- Ability to provide compassionate care and comfort
