Position Summary:
Peachtree Catering and Events, a premier catering and event production firm based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Service Manager to lead and uphold service excellence at events across our exclusive venues and off-premise locations, especially as it relates to Front of House roles like Event Manager, Server, Bartender, and Dignitary (Wedding Attendant).
This position plays a critical role in the execution of high-end events, ensuring that all front-of-house staff operate at the highest standard of hospitality, professionalism, and preparedness. The Service Manager will work in close partnership with the Staffing Manager, Operations, Culinary, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless guest experience and maintain staff accountability and quality control.
Key Responsibilities

Attend events regularly to oversee service execution, assess staff performance, and address issues in real-time

Collaborate with the Staffing Manager on training, feedback, and staff development to ensure excellent standards of service

Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate with Event Managers and Lead Servers to ensure service setup aligns with client expectations

Monitor and support new staff members on-site, ensuring adherence to Peachtree’s service standards and protocols

Provide real-time coaching and post-event feedback to service staff, including escalating performance concerns as needed

Coordinate with Event Managers to resolve staffing or service issues during events, acting as the escalation point when needed

Conduct spot checks and service evaluations to ensure SOPs are followed (uniform, timing, tray service, etc.)

Communicate observations and service outcomes with the Staffing Manager and HR post-event

Assist in developing and refining service SOPs, training documentation, and onboarding protocols

Maintain a professional presence and act as a brand ambassador for Peachtree’s hospitality standards
Qualifications

3 years of experience in event service management, fine dining, or upscale catering

Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a large, diverse FOH team

Strong understanding of hospitality standards, service etiquette, and event flow

Ability to collaborate across departments and provide constructive feedback

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to think quickly and resolve conflicts calmly in high-pressure situations

Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays in alignment with the event schedule

Reliable transportation required; RAMP certification and wine/food knowledge a plus
