Summary
To support the consumer lending network at PSFCU with all loan operation functions. This position is responsible for monthly insurance reconcilements, incentives, maintaining the loan vault and processing loan requests to include loan payoffs, gratis reports, debt protection refunds, total loss claims, loan account transfers, skip payment requests and loan documentation. This role works closely with the branches and LBP center as well as dealerships, members and third parties. The ideal candidate will possess good communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheet capabilities and a general knowledge of loan documentation.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Experience | One to Three years of similar or related experience.
Education | A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills | Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills | Must have good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Completes monthly insurance product spreadsheets and incentive logs. Posts entries for payments to vendors and PSFCU loan product income. Communicates incentive information to the branch network and LBP Center. Completes monthly incentive drawings.
- Process and communicate status of loan skip a payment request as received via online and branch channels.
- Completes loan register report daily and record all errors on daily log for weekly review.
- Files all loan documentation and responsible for all loan folders. Purges loan files in accordance with the loan retention schedule.
- Processes Total Loss claims and Gap claims. Processes loan payoff requests and releases collateral.
- Completes loan account transfers due to fraud, Debt Protection Refunds, and Gratis requests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- To ensure collateral documentation is completed 100% of the time.
- To process loan payoff requests and requests for documentation within 24 hours of receipt.
- To maintain a working knowledge of the credit unions’ loan policies and procedures as well as governmental regulations and state title requirements.
- To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers.
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.

- Files all loan documentation and responsible for all loan folders. Maintains loan files according to the document retention policy. Processes loan payoffs, payments, and insurance checks.
- Answers lending phone calls and provides support to the PSFCU lending teams for Loan Operations functions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Produce the required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
