Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines.
- Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to their unique needs.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
- Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and transparency in care plans.
- Participate in ongoing training on special education techniques, medical terminology, behavior management, and ethical practices for behavior analysts.

Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred, especially within applied behavioral analysis (ABA) frameworks.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques, data collection methods, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients through personalized care plans focused on autism spectrum disorders support.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
- Knowledge of medical records management, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and proper documentation.
- Experience working in home-based behavioral settings or school environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated professionalism with adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
