What You'll Bring
You're already comfortable balancing technical excellence with compassionate patient care. The strongest candidates bring:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent education and experience required to obtain state licensure, registration, or certification for clinical practice.
- Previous MRI experience preferred, with at least one year of experience welcomed.
- Strong understanding of MRI and radiology terminology, imaging procedures, anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Confidence performing venipuncture and supporting patients through a variety of imaging experiences.
- Ability to adapt care based on a patient's age, stage of development, and individual needs.
- Working knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and MRI-related computer applications.
Upon hire, one of the following credentials is required:
- ARRT-MR
- ARMRIT
- ARRT-R
- ARRT-N
- ARRT-S
- CNMT
- RDCS
- RDMS
- RMSKS
- ARDMS-RVT
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) registration upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- ARRT-MR registration is required within 1 year of hire (except for ARMRIT-certified technologists).
