We have a newly approved position for a Board Certified Gastroenterologist who is interested in providing occasional per diem coverage at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center (SJMC) in Longview, Washington. Our hospital is a relaxing 50-60 minute drive along the scenic Columbia River, north of Portland, Oregon. 

You’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in an underserved community as a valued member of our gastroenterology services team. 

If you’re seeking a community-based practice that’s close to big-city amenities with a multitude of outdoor opportunities nearby, this practice is what you are looking for! Live in Longview in a Craftsman house within walking distance of the hospital or five to ten minutes away in Columbia Valley Gardens near the golf course or in Columbia Heights with views of the valley, rivers and mountains. Neighboring communities are also growing and have new housing.

• Join 3 Gastroenterologists, 2 PAs, and support staff is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
• Our full-time physicians have 2 Clinic Days, 2 Procedure Days, 1 admin day per week. Excellent work/life balance.
• Call is 1:4 and low volume.
• Interesting patient pathology.

Per Diem Benefits:

• Hourly pay rate: $338.34
• Fully paid malpractice insurance and tail coverage
