Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychological Associate (PsyD or PhD) to join our dynamic mental health team. This position is ideal for postdoctoral candidates and recent graduates with a strong background in psychological assessment who are working toward licensure as a Psychologist in California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with a wide range of mental health challenges, neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral health needs. You will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions, conducting assessments, and supporting treatment planning within a collaborative clinical environment. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and psychological testing to evaluate client needs and diagnostic criteria.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and autism spectrum disorder support strategies.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, schools, and via telehealth platforms.
- Manage crisis intervention situations effectively, ensuring client safety and appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and caregivers—to coordinate care plans and optimize client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery and clinical practices.
Experience
- Doctorate degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Eligible to register with the California Board of Psychology as a Registered Psychological Associate.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in clinical or outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in child & family counseling, behavioral health interventions, and mental health diagnostics.
- Supervising experience with junior staff or trainees is preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience with crisis intervention techniques and managing trauma-related disorders such as PTSD.
- Familiarity with hospital-based mental health services or inpatient/outpatient care environments.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities.
- Strong background in psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based treatment planning for diverse populations.
- Telehealth therapy experience is highly desirable to support remote service delivery efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current postdoctoral trainee or recent doctoral graduate.
- Graduation from an APA-accredited program.
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred but not required).
- Experience working with diverse populations.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
