Responsibilities
Application Management
- Help develop a product vision by uncovering and understanding user needs, translating them into requirements, and building buy-in with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, development, and finance to ensure Tessitura is being utilized effectively, users are fully trained on its capabilities, and implementation corresponds to users' needs and expectations.
- Be a leader and champion in Tessitura usage.
- Coordinate with Tessitura Network to ensure that hosted Tessitura environments are performing satisfactorily and are upgraded effectively. Keep up to date with upcoming changes to Tessitura and how they will impact the Peace Center.
- Answer incoming support questions about Tessitura, TNEW, Instant Encore, and Wordfly. Escalate to vendor as necessary.
- Support the Center's CRM reporting needs. Extract and present data in meaningful analyses to inform Peace Center leadership.
- Participate actively on the data governance team, providing a perspective from the users of the Tessitura CRM.
- Lead the internal Tessitura Power User Group
- Coordinate duplicate management and data cleansing efforts within Tessitura.
- Build and maintain a data dictionary for Tessitura data.
- Work closely with all areas of the Peace Center to evaluate business process workflows that involve Tessitura and optimize for efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use. Develop new workflows where necessary.
- Ensure PCI compliance is maintained in the Tessitura environment and its surrounding processes.
- Maintain Tessitura user security to ensure users have the access they need for their roles.
- Protect constituent privacy by ensuring Tessitura contact preferences are maintained and prioritized in list pulls and extractions.
- Coordinate all Tessitura upgrades ensuring they are tested satisfactorily before being released to the live environment.
- Ensure all data backups and maintenance jobs are tested, scheduled, and running effectively.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in the Tessitura Network, and attending the annual Tessitura Learning and Community Conference (TLCC).
You are successful as the Tessitura Product Owner because you:
- have a strong background in Tessitura product administration;
- have an understanding of TSQL programming and administration;
- have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
- are skilled in using Tessitura Analytics
- possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- read and write technical specifications; and
- understand or quickly learn the unique business and system needs of the Peace Center.
You are qualified for the position because you:
- have a minimum of one year experience as a Tessitura Administrator or equivalent; and
- have experience working as a TSQL DBA;
