What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership & Annual Giving Specialist position at Peabody Essex Museum Inc?
Over the last 20 years, the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) has distinguished itself as one of the fastest-growing art museums in North America. Founded in 1799, it is also the country's oldest continuously operating museum. Under supervision of the Director of Membership & Individual Giving, the Membership & Annual Giving Specialist will serve as the primary support for the museum's fulfillment of all memberships, EIMA, and PEM Fund gifts.
This role supports all annual programs including PEM Fund, EIMA, and Membership, as well as the relationship manager support. For Membership, the Specialist will be responsible for aspects of the database, gift transactions and reporting in the strategic development and execution of PEM’s Membership and Annual Giving Programs. This role oversees the day to day gift entry, list creation and generation, transactional web pages, membership and annual giving progress reporting, and customer service needs. This role works closely with the Development Operations, Stewardship, and Events teams while serving as the primary support for the museum’s annual leadership giving program, East India Marine Associates.
