Physical Therapy Assistant
Location - Auburn, CA
Unit: SNF or Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP
Educational Requirement:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Experience and Licensing Requirements:
- California state Physical Therapist Assistant License
- BLS / CPR Certification
- Preferred 1 year working in SNF setting and experience in Net Health
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (“PTA”) provides quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records.
