Role Summary:As a Material Handler, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials in and out of our facility. From packing and shipping orders to operating forklifts and other handling equipment, you'll help drive our day-to-day operations and make a tangible impact on the business. Your role will be critical in supporting our warehouse and storage activities, helping to keep things running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and pack orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Safely load and unload materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment. Move stock to and from storage areas, ensuring safe transport. Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines. Follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe handling of all materials. Perform regular inventory checks and maintain organized storage systems. Follow all safety protocols to minimize physical risks, including heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs or more). Qualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks or forklifts. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving materials. Preferred:Experience with palletizing and preparing materials for shipment. Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures. Previous exposure to machine, chemical, or biological hazards in a warehouse setting.
