Drive Innovation in Aerospace Electronics – Advanced Manufacturing Engineer!
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support small lot production of Hybrid Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) devices used in Aerospace Radar Altimeters. This is a hands-on opportunity for engineers with strong technical judgment, inventory management experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.
About The Role
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll lead day-to-day lab operations, manage inventory and documentation, troubleshoot equipment and processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance in a high-tech lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Pay Details: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour

About The Role
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll lead day-to-day lab operations, manage inventory and documentation, troubleshoot equipment and processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance in a high-tech lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and small lot production of Hybrid MMIC devices.
- Collaborate with production planners to optimize schedules and meet demand.
- Manage inventory: track shortages, plan lead times, and order lab materials.
- Maintain and update production documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of equipment and processes.
- Perform RMA processing and lead investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell’s quality and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Technology, Sciences, or Mathematics).
- 5 years of experience in production operations or lab environments.
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in a factory setting as a production or process engineer.
- Proven success implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing inventory and change control with suppliers.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with Microwave/RF technology and semiconductor assembly.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment (e.g., DMM, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, laser trimmers).
- Pay Rate: $37–$40/hr.
- Shift: 1st Shift – Standard business hours.
