As an Interior Remove & Install Technician, you’ll directly impact quality, performance, and comfort where it matters most—in the cabin.What You'll DoAs a vital part of our Hartford-based team, you'll work on the removal, installation, and refurbishment of premium aircraft interiors. You’ll ensure every detail reflects precision and excellence, while maintaining safety, compliance, and efficiency throughout the process.Key Responsibilities:Remove, install, and refurbish interior aircraft components according to work orders and specificationsDisassemble furnishings and hardware; prepare and finish veneer and hardwood materialsApply stains, paints, polyester base coats, and urethane top coats with a high degree of accuracyDocument all work in compliance with regulatory and procedural standardsParticipate in 5-S and continuous improvement initiativesAssist with drop-in aircraft, planned maintenance projects, and off-site assignments when requiredRead and interpret engineering drawings and ensure all work aligns with technical standardsSupport other maintenance disciplines as neededWhat You BringRequired Qualifications:3–5 years of aircraft interiors remove and install experience, preferably on corporate jetsProficiency in cabinet disassembly, inlay removal, hardware handling, and finish strippingExperience sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood; touch-up and defect correctionSkill in mixing, matching, and applying wood stains and finishesFamiliarity with masking/unmasking techniques for the finish processStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to work from engineering drawingsClear written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with touch-up and finish work on aircraft interiorsFamiliarity with international aviation assignments or working on specialized platformsWhy Join UsAt PDS Tech Commercial, we believe people are the engine behind innovation.
