This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $65.45 per hour

Role Details
- Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-month assignment)
- Location: St. Charles, MO
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Pay Rate: Starting at $65.45 per hour
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Provide engineering leadership to cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOW) to support R&D, new business, and ongoing programs
- Collaborate with customers and leadership to define scope, deliverables, and approvals
- Evaluate and respond to changes in project scope, assessing impact to cost, schedule, and resources
- Lead project execution, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives
- Define and monitor performance metrics to track progress and efficiency
- Plan and coordinate resources across the full project lifecycle
- Identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies
- Analyze actual performance against plans to drive continuous improvement and lessons learned
- Deliver presentations and reports to senior and executive leadership
- Support program success through data-driven decision making and reporting tools
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 4 years of related experience in production or systems engineering
- 3 years leading cross-functional teams or projects (formal or informal leadership)
- 4 years of experience using project management tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
- PowerPoint for executive-level presentations
- Experience developing metrics and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
- 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
- Familiarity with DoD contracts
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM/CAM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Planner
