Pay Details: $55.00 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements in the aerospace industry. This role is key to ensuring production quality, efficiency, and safety through advanced engineering analysis, planning, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain work instructions and daily production plans
- Drive quality and efficiency improvements
- Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis
- Define tooling, methods, and sequence of operations
- Lead technical studies to optimize production
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally and lead project implementation
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with safety and business continuity planning
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
- 18 months in manufacturing engineering, planning, or technical roles
- Knowledge of engineering configuration, tooling, quality control, safety, blueprint reading, and shop math
- Proficiency in CATIA or similar software
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Must Have Valid Driver's License
- Lean Specialist Certification
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
