Pay Details: $51.23 per hour

As a Numerical Control Programmer, you will play a vital role in transforming engineering designs into precision-machined aerospace parts. What You’ll Do
In this hands-on, highly collaborative role, you will:
- Create, verify, and optimize Machine Control Data (MCD) and CNC programs for multi-axis (primarily 5-axis) machining
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing requirements to develop accurate machining strategies
- Design and support multiple setups for complex part geometries, ensuring proper tooling and fixturing
- Produce clear setup documentation and operator instructions for safe, repeatable machining operations
- Use simulation tools (e.g., Vericut) to validate programs and prevent collisions or defects
- Troubleshoot and refine programs based on shop-floor feedback and first-article inspections
- Collaborate with engineering, tooling, planning, and machine operators to optimize performance and reduce cycle times
- Maintain program revisions and configuration control per company standards
- Contribute to process improvements and manufacturability solutions

Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of NC programming experience in production machining or equivalent
- Proven expertise programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace parts (aluminum and hard metals)
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Proficiency with CATIA V5 NC programming
- Experience with simulation/verification tools such as Vericut
- Ability to create clear setup documentation and operator instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience designing custom fixtures and tooling for complex machining operations
- Background in aerospace manufacturing and inspection processes
- Ability to define machining strategies and optimize production workflows
- Track record of improving cycle times and reducing scrap
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with additional CAM systems or post-processors
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
