Schedule: Monday–Friday | Second Shift, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (3-month assignment)

As an Electrical Design Technician, you will support the development and validation of electrical systems that power advanced aerospace programs. Your work will directly contribute to safe, reliable system performance by ensuring designs, installations, and documentation meet strict industry and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical professional who enjoys both design support and system-level troubleshooting.

In this role, you will support engineering and lab environments with a mix of design, installation, and validation activities, including:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $48.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support engineering and lab environments with a mix of design, installation, and validation activities, including:
- Develop, maintain, and release electrical and electromechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation
- Prepare and update design layouts using approved design tools and standards
- Incorporate design changes and resolve design discrepancies
- Assist with building laboratory systems, including wire bundles and component installations
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to confirm proper installation, functionality, and safety
- Support engineering system design validation and functional testing
- Develop and maintain product installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex
- Coordinate work with internal engineering teams and external suppliers
- Ensure all documentation complies with company, industry, and governmental standards
- Perform duties under general direction; role-specific training provided after start

- Strong electrical background and foundational electrical knowledge
- Hands-on experience with wire installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and system layouts
- Experience supporting system installation, troubleshooting, or validation activities
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically 3 years of related work experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Electrical installation experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Prior exposure to aerospace, manufacturing, or laboratory system builds
- Experience supporting moderately complex electrical systems
