Role Summary
As the HR Generalist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing comprehensive human resources support across employee relations, talent management, compensation, and organizational development. You will play a key role in aligning people strategies with business objectives while championing HR initiatives that help teams perform at their best.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and resolution support to managers and employees
- Partner with site leadership to advise on business decisions impacting workforce effectiveness and organizational performance
- Coach managers on performance development, feedback, and corrective action
- Promote and support performance management processes
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures related to recruitment, compensation and benefits, rewards and recognition, and talent development
- Manage the rollout and administration of corporate HR programs, including compensation and benefits, performance management, development, and employee surveys
- Conduct internal investigations into employee concerns or misconduct, including documentation, recommendations, and coordination with legal counsel
- Partner with leadership to support organizational change initiatives and assess talent and skill needs
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on full-cycle recruitment activities and maintenance of recruiting channels
- Conduct new hire orientation and complete first-day onboarding documentation, including I-9 administration
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes to minimize risk and ensure compliance
- Act as an ambassador of company culture by supporting corporate initiatives and team-building activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices
- Experience conducting internal investigations and providing sound, unbiased recommendations
- High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse internal stakeholders
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with ADP required or strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
- HR management experience in a multinational or global organization
- Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP and SAP
- Professional HR certification (SHRM or HRCI)
