PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Administrator Construction Manager to support our client, a national leader in telecommunications. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building high-speed fiber-optic infrastructure that powers homes and businesses across the country. Your oversight and coordination will directly impact the success of OSP (Outside Plant) construction projects, helping close the digital divide and connect more Americans to reliable broadband services.
What You’ll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Oversee daily OSP construction activities performed by contractors
Ensure work meets quality standards, follows design specifications, and stays within budget
Collaborate with engineering, logistics, project management, and regulatory teams
Attend and lead pre-construction meetings and site inspections
Ensure all permitting, traffic control plans, and work zone protection standards are met
Maintain accurate documentation including as-builts, invoices, and timesheets
Support damage investigations and maintain safety compliance
Monitor project schedules, report progress, and manage material logistics
Serve as a liaison with municipalities, utilities, and internal departments
What You’ll Bring: Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of combined Outside Plant construction and splicing experience
Strong understanding of OSP Construction Standards, Unit Descriptions, and SSP contracts
Working knowledge of state, local, and company safety regulations
Excellent communication and coordination skills—written and verbal
Comfortable working outdoors, lifting moderately heavy items, and traveling as needed
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and be on-call when required
Valid U.S. driver’s license required
Experience with fiber placement and OSP project oversight is a must

Pay Details: 40.27 to 44.59 per hour
