About The Role
As an Administrator Construction Manager, you’ll lead contractor oversight and manage field-based outside plant (OSP) construction operations. With approximately 80% of your time spent in the field, your leadership will directly shape project outcomes and network expansion. This is a 6-month, full-time consultant role offering steady, hands-on work in a growing industry.

Pay Details: $41.40 to $45.85 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day OSP construction activities and contractor performance
- Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections to verify quality and compliance
- Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and internal teams to ensure project success
- Monitor budgets and project expenditures for accuracy and efficiency
- Handle material management, accurate project reporting, invoicing, and documentation
- Investigate and report plant damage incidents
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting, Work Zone Protection (WZP), and Traffic Control Plans (TCP)
- Attend pre-construction meetings and manage project scheduling
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, project management, and other departments
- In-depth knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, unit descriptions, and SSP contracts
- Strong understanding of state, local, and company safety requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions, perform physical site work, and conduct field inspections
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with light testing at network hubs
