**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals, including but not limited to steel and aluminum, according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, or other methods to ensure proper fit and alignment before welding.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to identify any imperfections and make necessary corrections to meet quality standards.
- Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and engaging in practices that promote a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
- Accurately complete work orders and documentation to ensure proper record-keeping and traceability of all welded components.
