Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and committed to delivering quality workmanship. Diesel experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, inspections, etc.)
- Complete engine, transmission, suspension, and steering repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
- Follow safety procedures and shop standards
- Communicate clearly with customers
- Strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
- 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with a variety of vehicle systems (gas and light diesel)
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
