Automotive Technician***URGENTLY NEEDED

Job Summary
We are looking for a technician to join our shop. Well established with a good reputation in the community this shop has been around for 35 years. The ideal candidate will have years of experience in automotive repair performing inspections and repairing vehicles in an independent shop. The Automotive Technician will be part of a team that works closely together to get jobs done. This role requires being safe, mechanical knowledge, problem solving, attention to detail, and a desire to work.

Duties

-Test drive then inspect vehicles before repairs to give customer overall idea of vehicle.

-Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Repair diesel engines as needed, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Automotive Technician in a shop is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in the automotive industry.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
