Performance Coach
The role of a Performance Coach is pivotal in the athletic training program. The coach is responsible for guiding and developing athletes to achieve peak performance levels. This includes designing and implementing customized training programs, conducting athlete assessments, providing instruction on proper techniques, and motivating athletes to maximize their potential. The coach also serves as a mentor, fostering a positive training atmosphere, and regularly tracking and adjusting training programs to support athlete development.

* Session Pay: $23 to $100/hour compensation for classes, team training, private and semi-private training of athletes as well as other opportunities.

Job Summary: As a Performance Coach you will play a crucial role in guiding and developing athletes to achieve their peak performance levels. You will be trained on the delivery of our training philosophies and methodologies and be responsible for leading the training classes that focus on speed, agility, strength, and sport-specific skills. The ideal candidate for this job will possess a background in athletic training, a passion for helping young and/or high school, college and pro athletes achieve their maximum potential, and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive training environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Athlete Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of athletes' current abilities, strengths, and areas for improvement to form the development of individualized training plans. Athletes will not only go through benchmark physical testing but will have access to a functional medicine practitioner for a deep dive of testing to take it to a whole new level. We will have medical oversight as well as a nutritionist and more.
Skill Development: Provide instruction and guidance on proper techniques and mechanics for various athletic movements, ensuring athletes develop fundamental skills and reduce the risk of injury.
Motivation and Mentorship: Inspire and motivate athletes to maximize their potential, both on and off the field. Serve as a mentor, fostering a positive and supportive training atmosphere.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and assess athletes' progress, adjusting training programs as needed to address strengths and weaknesses. We will hold monthly "combines" for the athletes to test out in a fun atmosphere.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive training environment.
Continued Learning: Stay informed about the latest developments in sports science, training methodologies, and coaching techniques. Attend relevant workshops and training sessions to enhance coaching skills.

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience is a plus in coaching or training athletes, preferably in a speed and agility-focused environment
Strong understanding of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports psychology.
BONUS QUAIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field, Certified NASM, Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or equivalent national training certification.
