Our vertically integrated facility specializes in in-house tool design and mold fabrication for injection molding high-performance thermoplastics, including PEEK, Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC), Cyclic Olefin Polymer (COP), and PEBA. We can also customize material blends with colorants and functional additives.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Materials Manager to oversee order processing, production scheduling, material planning, and inventory control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is central to ensuring on‑time delivery, maximizing production efficiency, and maintaining clear communication between Sales, Engineering, Production, and Shipping.
Key Responsibilities
• Order Management & Customer Communication
- Process customer orders arriving via email and enter them into the ERP system (IQMS).
- Maintain and update production schedules in IQMS and supporting Excel tools.
- Send order acknowledgements after reviewing materials, capacity, and tooling.
- Provide ongoing customer service and support.
• Production Scheduling
- Plan and schedule production runs for molding machines and assembly.
- Communicate daily job priorities and setups to production teams.
- Monitor production output and update work order statuses.
• Materials Planning & Purchasing
- Purchase raw materials and supplies; manage vendor relationships.
- Evaluate BOMs and inventory levels to avoid shortages.
• Inventory & Workflow Tracking
- Track daily production and update IQMS work orders.
- Maintain accurate finished goods and raw material inventory.
- Lead quarterly physical inventory counts.
• Shipping Oversight
- Supervise Shipping/Receiving Associate and ensure timely customer shipments.
- Verify documentation and shipping notices.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Tooling for new orders and quotes.
- Identify at-risk orders and support forecasting.
Qualification and Experience Requirements (Minimum qualifications and experience necessary to meet the responsibilities, and authority level of this position)
1. Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
2. 5 to 8 years of relevant in materials management, production scheduling, or supply chain experience, preferably within medical device, diagnostics, or life science industry manufacturing
3. Strong ERP (IQMS preferred) and Excel skills.
4. Understanding of BOMs, production processes, and material flow.
5. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Computer proficiency with MS Windows and Office software.
1. Excellent personal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
2. Supervisory experience prefered.
Experience base with manufacturing of medical components, electronic assemblies, injection molding, device assembly, and/or final packaging preferred.
