. General Custodian

Job Summary

The General Custodian performs routine custodial services across administrative, industrial-support, and common-use facilities. This role is ideal for dependable employees who can move efficiently through recurring route work while maintaining restroom and appearance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Service assigned offices, common areas, break areas, entrances, and restrooms according to route frequency
• Remove trash, replace liners, sweep, mop, vacuum, spot clean, and restock supplies
• Maintain route timing and communicate quickly when access, stock, or safety issues affect performance
• Support periodic cleaning, surge restroom cycles, and holiday-recovery work as directed
• Protect customer areas and follow all safety, PPE, and approved-product requirements
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Prior custodial or labor experience preferred but not required; training available for strong candidates
• Ability to work safely around equipment, wet floors, and occupied or partially occupied facilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain installation access and pass customer-required background screening
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on foot for most of the shift
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in office, warehouse-support, manufacturing-support, or campus cleaning
• Experience with auto scrubbers, backpack vacuums, or route-based cleaning systems
