What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Medical Receptionist (Spanish/English) position at PCP for Life?
The Bilingual Medical Receptionist is responsible for running the front desk of a busy primary care clinic, including patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility verification, and time-of-service payment collection. This position is the first person patients see and the last voice they hear, and uses Spanish and English every shift.
The ideal candidate is a Spanish speaking front desk professional with medical office experience who stays calm with a full waiting room and ringing phones, and gets patient records, insurance, and payments right the first time. We have cared for Houston's diverse communities since 1992, with 10 clinics and still expanding.
