🚨 NOW HIRING: FLOOR TECHNICIAN – HOUMA AREA
Location: Houma Area, LA
PCMS is seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Technician to join our team in a hospital environment. This position is responsible for maintaining hard floor surfaces and supporting a clean, safe, and professional healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate floor care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and related machines
• Perform floor maintenance duties such as buffing, scrubbing, polishing, and restoring floor surfaces
• Assist with stripping and waxing floors as needed
• Sweep, mop, and maintain assigned areas
• Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and facility procedures
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance concerns
• Complete assigned work independently and as part of a team
• Ensure all work meets PCMS quality standards
Qualifications:
• Floor care experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
• Experience operating floor machines is a plus
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment and maintain professionalism
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Must be dependable and have good attendance
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
