Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction, supervision and performance management for Enterprise Application Administrator and Systems Administrator roles.
- Establish departmental priorities, technical standards, and best practices across systems, applications, integrations, data, and security.
- Oversee administration, optimization, and roadmap planning for Salesforce, Microsoft, AMS platforms, and cloud systems.
- Ensure application change management, release management, and deployments follow SDLC, Agile, and DevOps standards.
- Manage cloud and limited on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, VPN, device management, firewalls, and backup solutions.
- Maintain PCMA’s data integrity is sound by performing data quality controls, policies, monitoring and ongoing governance.
- Support 99.5% uptime targets and disaster recovery readiness.
- Ensure timely resolution of user support requests, improving response time and service quality.
- Lead cross-departmental projects ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and ensure staff are trained on systems.
- Represent the organization professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Manages Help Desk Specialist responsible for end user systems and hardware support and training.
- Ensure that a thorough staff training plan is in place and implemented.
- Ensure that all IT and MDM network policies are maintained and enforced.
- Observe support requests, identify trends and recommend solutions to streamline support that reduce repeat issues.
- Ensure that PCMA’s IT asset inventory is tracked and kept up to date.
KNOWLEDGE, SIILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, integration, APIs, and ISV management.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps, and integration tools such as MuleSoft or Zapier.
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions, database monitoring, Microsoft 365 administration email systems, and telephony administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of seven to 10 (7 to 10) years of progressive IT experience including enterprise systems and infrastructure management
- Proven problem-solving experience with multi-platform and multi network subnet environments.
- Proven ability to organize, structure and complete projects within established deadlines required.
- Prior experience supervising technical teams or leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 administration, Salesforce, AMS platforms, enterprise servers, enterprise backup solutions, networking, and firewall administration.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and support enterprise application and cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
- Must also demonstrate a sense of urgency, take initiative, sense of ownership of their work, strong team player, constant desire to improve, positive attitude, and willing to learn and adapt to a modern cloud-first environment.
- Flexibility to work extra hours, some weekends, and infrequent travel as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Hybrid work schedule expected, with designated in-office days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Occasional after-hours work or travel may be required.
- Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit or walk for extended periods of time in performing the work.
- Ability to pull or push objects of varying weights in performing the work.
- Ability to grasp objects utilizing fingers (fine motor manipulation).
- Ability to travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing the work.
- Ability to lift up to fifteen pounds.
