We are seeking experienced Underground Pipelayers for a project in Westminster, CO 80020.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

• Install sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water pipe systems, including related structures.
• Layout pipe routes according to project specifications, blueprints, and supervisor direction.
• Cut pipes to required lengths and prepare materials for installation.
• Assist in aligning and positioning pipes during pipeline construction.
• Align and position pipes for welding, sealing, or joint connection.
• Check pipe slope and alignment using levels, lasers, or other measurement tools.
• Connect pipe sections and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
• Tap and drill pipes to install auxiliary lines or devices.
• Grade and level trench bases using hand tools and tamping equipment.
• Cover installed pipes with earth or other specified materials.
• Maintain safe trench conditions and follow all excavation safety requirements.
• Use and understand industry‑standard hand signals to communicate with equipment operators.
• Train and assist other crew members in pipe‑laying techniques as needed.
• Perform other general labor and construction‑related duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Prior experience in underground utility or pipe‑laying work preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plans, grades, and layout instructions.
• Strong understanding of trench safety and underground construction practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
• Ability to work in varied terrain and close proximity to heavy equipment and traffic.
• Comfortable working around loud noise, dust, fumes, odors, and gases common to construction sites.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-50 pounds on a periodic basis.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work as part of a team.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position. Candidates must be able to comply with the company’s drug‑free workplace policy, including pre‑employment and job‑related testing.

The salary range for this position is between $28 and $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
