We are seeking a Field Engineering Intern for our Project site in Abilene, Texas. Interns must be available to work full time from May to August 2027.

Join us as a Field Engineering Student you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Assists Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents
- Conducts safety audits and quality audits
- Reads and understands drawings and specifications
- Logs submittals and process RFI’s
- Assists with surveying and project layout
- Maintains and updates field drawings, field equipment and records
- Assists with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Attends relevant project meetings
- Prepares memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
- Assists with project documentation requirements
- Assists with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry (e.g.construction management, construction engineering, construction technology, etc.)
- Desire to pursue a career in Solar/Renewable Energy and construction project management, fieldsupervision, or estimating.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to travel to and from the job site
- Able to work full time from May to August 2027 at our project site in Abilene, Texas
- Able to navigate through a construction site on a daily basis, climb ladders and stairs
- Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party
