Position Summary
The Parking Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the daily oversight of parking facilities’ maintenance operations, including garages, lots, meters, pay stations, signage, lighting, and equipment. This role assists with scheduling, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating repairs to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient parking environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning and supervising daily maintenance operations across garages, surface lots, and on-street equipment.

Oversee maintenance staff: assign work orders, monitor completion, and provide hands-on support when necessary.

Inspect parking facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.

Assist in troubleshooting and repairing parking equipment (meters, pay stations, gates, lighting, elevators, etc.).

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs or installations.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.

Support enforcement of safety policies and OSHA compliance; ensure staff follow PPE and safety protocols.

Provide training and guidance to new maintenance staff.

Assist in preparing reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations (electrical outages, equipment malfunctions, flooding, etc.).
Qualifications

2 years of experience in facility, parking, or maintenance management (parking industry preferred).

Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and respond quickly to urgent issues.

Proficiency with maintenance software/work order systems preferred (e.g., Fiix, T2, etc.).

Valid driver’s license; ability to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment.

Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
Qualifications
Salary : $40,000 - $42,000
