Description
Assist the Admin Manager to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly. Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll. Receives and processes company invoices. Reviews account information and ensures the accounts are properly billed and coded. Maintains and manages monthly/STR parker accounts for all locations. Keeps the financial process running smoothly by resolving invoice errors and tracking expenses. Maintains organized financial and payroll records. Creates a positive image of the city of Virginia Beach by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.
Reviews and abide by company policies and procedures. •
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
. • Resolve payroll errors
. • Ensure that payroll goes out in timely manner.
• Calculates bonuses and commissions when appropriate
. • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
• Manages employee issues regarding payroll.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
. • Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to Manager
. • Manages employee time off requests.
• Manages validation invoices.
• Manages monthly parker contracts
. • Approves final schedule after reviewing event schedules from location managers.
• Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Receives and processes company invoices
. • Reviews account information and ensures the accounts are properly billed and coded
. • Manages invoice statements for vendors
. • Records and updates all payments in accounting software
. • Creating financial documents.
• Overseas credit card expenses and manages the Concur P card system to assure all managers are reporting and coding their P card transactions correctly
. • Maintaining organized financial records of invoices, payroll reports, and financial records
. • Works with the accounting and management teams to monitor budgets.
• Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable
. • Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications.
• Uses Google Mail and Calendar applications. • Researches, analyzes, and evaluates data. •
Addresses and resolves guest and employee concerns. • Promotes a positive image of the City of Virginia Beach
