We’re hiring a Development Manager to lead full-cycle industrial development projects from site acquisition through final turnover.
This role will take ownership of projects at the earliest stages and drive execution across all phases — managing consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Class A industrial/logistics assets.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from initial site evaluation, due diligence, and underwriting through design, entitlements, construction, and turnover
- Manage all third-party partners including architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and municipalities
- Lead entitlement and permitting processes in complex regulatory environments
- Drive budgeting, scheduling, and overall project execution to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Coordinate closely with investment, leasing, and asset management teams throughout the lifecycle
- Oversee design development to ensure alignment with market demand and operational efficiency
- Manage procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation across all phases
- Provide consistent reporting on project status, risks, and financial performance
What they’re looking for:
- 8–15 years of experience managing industrial or logistics development projects
- Proven ability to lead projects from acquisition through completion (not just construction phase)
- Strong understanding of entitlements, site development, and ground-up construction
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across development, design, and construction
- Ability to operate in a lean, hands-on environment with full ownership of projects
- Strong financial and operational acumen across the full asset lifecycle
