Pb J Collective is a local, boutique nanny agency that has served families in Reno, Carson, and Lake Tahoe for 10 years. We're not a national franchise. We know our nannies by name, advocate for your pay and guaranteed hours, and have your back from the first interview through placement and beyond. We never charge nannies a fee!
We're growing our team of nannies who live in Incline Village, Truckee, and the surrounding Tahoe towns. The families we work with here want experienced, polished, discreet caregivers, and demand is high.
Roles we're placing now:
- Full-time newborn and infant care
- After-school care for school-age children
- Weekend nannies
- Flexible schedules for families whose plans shift week to week
- Roles that include national and international travel with the family
What your days look like
- Engaged, hands-on care matched to each child's age, from newborn routines to homework help
- Planning play, outings, and activities that support each child's development
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Driving to school, activities, and appointments
- Keeping the children's spaces tidy, including their laundry and dishes
- Clear, warm communication with parents about each day
What our families offer
- $30 to $50 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
- Legal W-2 pay through payroll, never under the table
- Guaranteed hours, so you're paid your set hours each week even if the family doesn't need them all
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate when you drive for the job
- Additional benefits vary by family
You're a great fit if you
- Have 3 or more years of professional childcare experience within the last 4 years, as a nanny, newborn care specialist, teacher, or in a childcare setting (babysitting for family and friends doesn't count)
- Can provide 3 professional childcare references
- Live in Incline Village, Truckee, or a nearby Tahoe town
- Have a reliable vehicle with AWD, 4WD, or snow tires, a valid driver's license, and confidence driving in mountain winters
- Are infant and child CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to certify before you start
- Are legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old
- Bring discretion and professionalism to private, high-profile households
Bonus points for newborn care training, a valid passport for travel roles, or a second language!
