What are the responsibilities and job description for the Babysitter, Lake Tahoe Hotels and Vacation Rentals (On-Call) position at Pb+J Collective?
Local Tahoe sitters wanted!
Families visiting Lake Tahoe book PB J Collective sitters at hotels and vacation rentals around the lake for date nights, ski days, and special events. Right now, many of those bookings go to sitters driving up from Reno. We want sitters who live here too!
PB J Collective is a local, boutique agency that has served Reno, Carson, and Lake Tahoe for 10 years. We're not a national franchise, and you're never just another name on a list. We know our sitters, we advocate for them, and we have your back on every booking.
What you get
- Starting at $30 per hour, paid directly by the family you sit for
- Bookings close to home
- Pick up the bookings that fit your schedule
- A local team that supports you before, during, and after every booking
You're a great fit if you

- Can provide 3 professional childcare references
- Live in Incline Village, Truckee, or a nearby Tahoe town
- Have a reliable vehicle with AWD, 4WD, or snow tires, and a valid driver's license
- Are infant and child CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to certify before your first booking
- Can walk into a hotel suite or rental home, put children at ease quickly, and stay polished and discreet with guests
- Are available some evenings and weekends
- Are legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old
How to apply
Apply here with your resume. We'll invite strong candidates to complete our full PB J application, followed by a Zoom interview with our team. Every sitter completes a background check, reference check, and social media screening before their first booking!
