Job Description
We are looking for an organized, efficient data entry billing clerk with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
To succeed as an data entry/billing clerk, you should be a skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management, computer, and communication skills. Candidates should understand and abide by all accounting procedures and principles and have a commitment to behaving ethically in the workplace.
Data entry/Billing clerk Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and executive team.
- Communicate with motor carriers on discrepancies and other matters.
- Process motor carriers paperwork for billing and weekly settlement.
- Review weekly billing.
- Follow-up on missing paperwork.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
- Assist the accounting team with researching, tracking, documenting and resolving discrepancies.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Data entry/Billing clerk Requirements:
- Type accurately with competency in MS Excel.
- Data entry and work processing skills.
- Well organized with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and a team-player who works well with staff and executives.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma.
- Associate degree or relevant certification in Accounting is a plus
