Summary/Objective
Paymentus is looking for an experienced, high performing Paralegal. The Paralegal position will assist the legal department in many facets of legal procedures and specific business legal needs. This role will give you the opportunity to work with key senior leadership and business partners.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day contract and NDA reviews as assigned
- Assisting with the preparation, filing of key legal documents
- Organizing and managing documents
- Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to requests
- Project management experience in cross-functional projects as assigned
- Compiling information and, preparing statistics, charts, graphs and other summaries to detail the findings
- Work with Legal, Finance, and business teams to drive efficiencies
- Research/analyze items and track industry trends
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility or direct reports.
Education/ Requirements
- 5-10 years of paralegal experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strategic thinker
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience or familiarity with SEC filings or equity compensation a plus
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to travel.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel requirement is up to 5%; however, requirements may be greater or less than during certain periods of the year.
