Job Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass to obtain Personal Lines License within the first 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Able to market and develop leads to gain new business
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction and cross-sell other insurance lines accordingly
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers and ask for referrals
- Maintain a professional and committed work ethic despite obstacles and adversity
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Strong attention to detail, time management, decision-making, and communication skills
- Solid computer, grammar, and multi-tasking skills
