What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Experience Specialist, Healthcare Price Transparency position at Payerset?
About Payerset
Payerset is a leading healthcare price transparency data company focused on helping care delivery organizations, patients, and employers make better decisions about healthcare pricing. We process over 15 trillion rate records quarterly, combining insurance carrier price transparency data with all-payer claims data from clearing houses to create one of the most comprehensive healthcare pricing datasets available. Our customers include health systems, managed care consulting firms, and care delivery organizations that rely on our Price Intelligence Portal and Data Lake products to make smarter contract decisions.
The Role
We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our growing team. This role is the front line of how our customers experience Payerset. You will provide white-glove support, serving as a trusted advisor to the people who use our platform every day, whether they are hospital managed care teams negotiating contracts or consultants advising care delivery organizations on reimbursement strategy.
This is not a passive, ticket-queue support role. You will be a platform expert, a data expert, and a proactive partner to our customers. You will help users understand the nuances across contracts by plan name, place of service, tax ID, and more, making sense of complex data scenarios and enabling them to get the most out of the platform. You will train customers on best practices, walk them through analytical workflows, and proactively surface insights when new data drops or policy changes affect their analysis.
You have to love helping people. You are the kind of person who genuinely gets excited to jump on a call and walk somebody through a problem. That energy is in your DNA.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust for different audiences
- Self-starter mentality with the resourcefulness to operate with autonomy
